Western Australia: Margaret River wineries

We returned to Blighty and the cold yesterday morning. I can’t say I enjoyed the long haul journey, 24 hours traveling never quite ‘does it’ for me but I know I’ve brought back some great sunny memories with me to brighten the grey cold of Winter. One of the many things I will miss is the great wines to be had out in Oz. Western Australia has a few wine areas now and we in Europe only get to taste a fraction of their output. As ever, the locals keep the best for themselves and with wines this good who can blame them. One low key winery now produces some fabulous wine. Read on…
