I was delighted to receive a copy of Niamh Shields’ new cookbook “Comfort & Spice”. I know Niamh personally but knew her well before meeting her as leading food blogger eatlikeagirl. Her new cookbook captures her personality and warmth perfectly and the recipes come with the tips and witty writing we’ve all come to expect from her blog. But would they stand up to the test in the kitchen? What do you think!

“I love it when a plan comes together” to quote a well-known action team. A gift of Forman & Field smoked salmon coincided with a delivery of Signe Johansen’s new cookbook, ‘Scandlicious: Secrets of Scandinavian Cooking’. So a flick of the pages and I’d decided on two recipes that would produce a fine meal. Yes, it was that easy!
